1 killed, 7 injured after building collapses

FlashOne was killed and seven people were injured after a six-storey building under construction collapsed Thursday in central China's Hubei Province. An unknown number of construction workers remain buried under the rubble.

Chinese couple murdered in Cairo

A young Chinese couple were murdered on Monday night in a rental house in the Nasr City in Cairo, a Chinese embassy official said today. The murder occurred at around 10 pm on Monday, Zhang Zhizhong, director of the consular affairs of the Chinese embassy to Egypt, told Xinhua. The couple, from eastern China's Zhejiang Province, had been dealing with marble business in Egypt for several years. The husband, surnamed Chen, was 30 and his pregnant wife surnamed Zhu, was in her 20s. Local police said they were investigating the case. The autopsy has been finished and the results are expected to come out later today. Zhang visited the police branch in Nasr City on Tuesday afternoon and demanded a quick finding of the criminals.
