Guangdong police hunt for 2 gunmen who rob luxury car

POLICE are hunting two men who stole a second-hand BMW at gunpoint and injured the car dealership owner in a south China city yesterday.

The two robbers, aged in their 30s, visited a second-hand car dealer in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, yesterday afternoon, asking to test drive a BMW, Guangzhou Daily reported today.

The owner of the dealership, surnamed Zhang, accompanied them on the drive, but later they asked him to get out. When Zhang tried to pull the key out of the ignition, they fired three shots at him, with one hitting Zhang's wrist, the report said.

Zhang ran away and called the police while the two robbers sped away, according to the report.
