Farewell, Tian Tian and Yang Guang

The giant panda Yang Guang eats bamboo in Ya'an, Sichuan Province, yesterday prior to a journey to Edinburgh, Scotland. As part of a 10-year joint research program, two giant pandas, the other is named Tian Tian, were yesterday sent to Edinburgh Zoo from the Giant Panda Conservation and Research Center in Sichuan. Tian Tian means sweety while Yang Guang means sunshine. An elderly lady sees off the pandas at the center along with some other visitors.
