Space ship returns

Yuanwang 1, China's first space tracking ship, docks at Shanghai's Jiangnan Shipyard yesterday. The first in a series of Yuanwang class ships in charge of tracking and supporting satellite and intercontinental ballistic missiles, Yuanwang 1 was built and put to sea in Shanghai in 1977. After the ship retired, it was sent back to Jiangnan Shipyard, where it was made, as a gift. It is to become an educational base.
