The company behind the signaling system suspected of causing the crash, has apologized for possible design flaws.
The Beijing National Railway Institute of Signals and Communication posted the apology on its website on Thursday, expressing condolences and regret to the victims of the accident. The company promised to fully cooperate with the investigation, and take responsibility and due punishments if they are found to be at fault.
