Shen Yun: A Wonderful Ticket from Bloomingdale's

The New York-based Shen Yun performed a selection of the best pieces of its repertoireshowcasing another journey of 5,000 years of Chinese traditional culture.
Its beautiful, its absolutely beautiful. I am very happy to be here, said Ms. Helen Shaub, who attended the performance with her son-in-law, Francisco Brugueras, a Vice President at the investment bank, Goldman Sachs.
Ms. Shaub said she learned about Shen Yun from a magazine, and then saw the tickets for sale while shopping at Bloomingdale's.
This is wonderful. This is wonderful, said Ms. Shaub after seeing the show.
I sink into the quality of the dancing and its arrangements, she said.
Soprano Haolan Gengs vocals and erhu virtuoso Xiaochun Qis musical performance of Can You Recall, received an enthusiastic audience response, as did the Plum Blossom dance, which featured bright pink ruffled fans and Nymphs of the Sea, which featured flowing silk streaming across a backdrop of blue ocean.
