Five workers missing in sea in S China

SHENZHEN - Rescuers in south China's Guangdong Province are searching for five road construction workers who were thrown into the sea after a machine malfunctioned on Tuesday, according to local work safety authorities.Six workers at the construction site of a seaside expressway in the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong fell into the sea waters, said a spokesman with the municipal administration of work safety.By 4 pm, one worker had been rescued while five others remained missing, said the spokesman.The work safety authorities are conducting further investigations into the accident.
