Shanghai building fire put out; no casualties

SHANGHAI - A business building under partial renovation at the heart of Shanghai's commercial area briefly caught fire on Sunday. No casualties were reported.The fire broke out on the top of the 12-storey No. 1578 building, located near the cin the bustling Nanjing West Road, at about 1:20 pm Sunday, belching out thick brownish smoke. The fire was put out by 1: 30 pm, fire-fighting officials said.The area was cordoned off as the authorities are probing the cause.
