President Hu visits Tsinghua University

BEIJING - Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the country's top-notch Tsinghua University Wednesday on the eve of its centennial anniversary.Hu extended congratulations and greetings to the students and faculty in the university.

Chinese couple murdered in Cairo

A young Chinese couple were murdered on Monday night in a rental house in the Nasr City in Cairo, a Chinese embassy official said today. The murder occurred at around 10 pm on Monday, Zhang Zhizhong, director of the consular affairs of the Chinese embassy to Egypt, told Xinhua. The couple, from eastern China's Zhejiang Province, had been dealing with marble business in Egypt for several years.
