Flooded mine trapps 10 in N. China

About 10 people were believed to have been trapped underground a flooded coal mine in north China's Shanxi Province Friday, local authorities said.

The flooding occurred at about 3:50 p.m. at a coal mine in Shanyin County in the city of Shuozhou.

The rescue operation is underway. No further details were immediately known.
