Transformers sequel in China: huge box office, bad reviews

Transformer: Dark of the Moon is certainly a blockbuster. It has a huge box office in Mainland China, already as much as 0.7 billion. The box office opening in Mainland China on August 4th also outnumbered Harry Porter. While its spectacular visual special effect is well received as usual, compared to its box office, the Dark of the Moon has been rated relatively low in many websites like Douban, a popular and growing social networking website in China. 90minSeeing the Lenovo and Yili product placement advertisements, the luxuries cars and Victoria Secret model, I think the first 90 minutes is just a chaotic show. Then as it moves on, the plot become clear, but also shows how much the Chinese culture has influenced over the U.S.A. Hero is no longer needed, the Stars and Strips is blowing in the wind, the American government save the world.

The whole movie is a chaos, no logic at all. Background music is also not good. I agree with many negative critics. razzie award is calling your name, Michael Bay.

Michael Bay chases after the cool special effects and ignores all the plot and commonsense. 90 minutes out of this 150 minutes movie is bullshit, 30 minutes of a chaotic fighting and 30 minutes for exhibiting the sexy female lead. The appearance of Sams parents is even more unnecessary. Anyway, it still has a good visual impact, IMAX 3D is magnificent. Over.

megan victorias secret lenovo 3DWithout Megan, its much less interesting for meThe whole movie is totally a Victorias Secret show. Lenovo stands outin one word, if you love the Autobots fighting scene, you can take an hour nap firstIf you just want to kill some time, buy the DVD.
There are also users that defend the latest sequel, saying that the Transformer movies has ! and shou ld focus on its visuals not the plot, therefore as long as the special effect is good, it can be rated as a great movie.
