Mural paintings shine in Hangzhou

Are you getting bored with the city's grey steel and drab colors? Mural paintings may be the answer to bring new life to the concrete jungle.

Recently, mural paintings on two apartment buildings in China's southeast city of Hangzhou have been gaining much attention. This painting showcases a wonderland filled with forests, waves of water, fairies, cats and rabbits. This second mural portrays star filled skies with high flying pixes.

Both these works were created by artist Chen Dongfan, who spent a month on the design and is happy to share his works inspired by the idea of "love and happiness".
