China sends plane to evacuate Chinese citizens from Cairo

An Air China passenger aircraft is on its way to Egypt to help evacuate Chinese citizens back to China. After receiving the order from the Foreign Ministry, Air China organized some of the most experienced pilots and flight attendents.
This is the first time that Air China has run a direct flight from Beijing to Cairo. The aircraft will bring back aound 260 Chinese tourists. It is reported that there are aound 500 Chinese passengers still stranded at the Cairo airport.
