An Arkansas resident said, "It's incredible! We can't explain it! You almost have to be here! I know I sound like a little girl from the south, but it's amazing! "

Another resident said, "It's just beyond words!"

The semi-annual Fashion Week's glamorous events draw more than 200-thousand visitors from around the world. Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City says "There is no question about it: Fashion is vital to New York City's future. It supports more than 165,000 jobs and generates more than $9 billion in annual wages -- with the semiannual Fashion Weeks generating more than 750 million dollars for our economy." Which might explain the recent move to a larger space from Bryant Park.

Crystal Fisher said, "Here at Lincoln Center, officials from Mercedes Benz say they're excited to host more than 85 designers on their runways."
